Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a preferred cabinet vendor?

Yes! We work with Fabuwood Cabinetry Corp. as our preferred cabinet vendor. We feature their cabinets in our showroom. You can choose from Fabuwood’s collection of cabinet colors and styles for your kitchen or bathroom vanities, and then we’ll handle the rest.

Does Axel Works work with my adjuster?

Yes, we work with insurance carriers and therefore your adjuster. We will supply them with all the photos, estimates and invoices for work completed as well as provide them with all the supporting paperwork needed to complete your claim.

Are you certified?

Yes, we are IICRC certified. The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification provides specific standards for properly mitigating water losses and damages sustained. Our staff is experienced, trained and certified.

Can I just use a wet vac to dry up the water?

It’s critical to properly dry out the area, including water that has seeped under flooring and behind baseboards and drywall. There is a 48-hour window to dry out the property before mold can grow. Once mold forms, it can be costly to remediate.

What can we do to prevent further damage with a water loss?

First, if you are able, turn off the water source. Next, remove anything that is standing in water.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes! We are fully licensed, bonded and insured.

Do you provide a warranty at Axel Works?

At Axel Works, we stand behind our service and as a result we offer a three (3) year Workmanship Warranty to ensure our customers have peace of mind.

How long will it take to get the work done?

For emergency water losses, the total time to dry out everything averages 3–4 days. For reconstruction, it all depends on how much work needs to be done. Axel Works will provide you with a timeline along with a project plan.

How much do I have to pay for an emergency service call?

Each loss is different. However, if it is an insurance claim, we will collect nothing and work with your insurance carrier.

What is the average response time for Axel Works to come to my home for a water loss?

We understand how important it is to get to your property quickly. Axel Works triages the losses and we’ll generally arrive and be ready to help you within two (2) hours.
